VIDEO INTERVIEW STYLES AND TIPS
Interview videos are versatile and can be used throughout your business. They tend to work best to boost brand awareness, explain concepts, as testimonials and attract leads with industry specific insight.

BENEFITS OF INTERVIEW VIDEOS
- Interview videos are authentic. They offer an unscripted personal take or knowledge from an expert. There’s a reason why journalism relies on interviews so heavily.
- Interviews make for great storytelling. Would you rather hear about the moon landing from a historian, or Neil Armstrong himself? The small details and anecdotes from someone who actually lived it brings a story to life.
- Interviews provide an inside look. Some interviews allow access to people and information that might otherwise stay behind closed doors. Celebrities, CEO’s, notable people, interviews give access and an inside look.
- Interview videos are easy to produce. Interview videos have minimal set up requirements. The standard one angle set-up expedites both the shoot day and the editing process.
- Interview footage is great for repurposing. Interview clips add authenticity and personality to your other types of videos. You can break the interview up into short clips to use on social media, or grab quotes for case studies. Include it on your website, as a company culture video, as a testimonial or explainer – what you do best.
Professional videographer team will capture your interview, speakers or testimonials. Up to 2 videographers and three 4K cameras. Multiple audio sources and lighting. We are located in Tampa, available in Orlando, central Florida. Editing is available, fast turn around.

Talk Show Style INTERVIEW –
Both interviewer and subject visible in camera shot
Depending on what you want your final product to look like, there are a number of different things to take into consideration when setting up your lights and camera. Will the interviewer be in the shot? Will the interviewer be audible to the audience? Will it be shot with multiple cameras? Will the subjects be seated, or moving? Will you be able to stop during the interview, move cameras, or re-ask questions?
Having both the subject and the host in the shot doesn’t have to be “talk show” style, it can be two people walking down a road, or sitting on a bench. This style of interview is often used when the host is part of the interview’s selling point because of their position or reputation.
A. Start out with easy questions. Questions that are easy for your subject to answer well and will get them into the swing of the things.
B. Avoid questions that can be answered “yes” or “no”. Instead of asking “Is it hot in Florida in July” ask “Compare the summers in Florida to the summers in Maine, where you grew up.” This invites your subject to tell parts of their story that you might not know about and opens up a conversation, providing more avenues to explore.
